i did not scan this. i took the pic with my cell phone, and the only editing i did was a little cropping cuz it's not like i could get a real good pic with the cell and then it was shaped weird so...yeah

so this is a scene i imagined when reading 'the final problem,' by sir arthur conan doyle, in which sherlock holmes 'dies' at the reichenbach falls near meiringen in switzerland. i imagine as watson came back, this is the scene he approached.

keep in mind, you detail nazis, that it is an emotional piece of writing and details as to the orientation of stuff like the falls themselves or whatever escaped me while reading. and i drew what my mind conjured.

this was drawn using...um...i don't remember. an art lead pencil. a slightly darker softer wider lead. i'm too lazy to go find it. and i drew this while listening to samuel barber's 'adagio for strings' and it took me...oh, maybe two hours. i don't really remember. it was four years ago when i drew it. but i'm quite proud of it
